The government district is located on an area of 550 acres, equivalent to 4.8 million square meters.
It consists of 36 buildings, 34 of them are for ministries, a building for parliament, and another for the prime minister.
About 18 large national Egyptian companies work in implementing the neighborhood under the supervision of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority.
Al-Alama Contracting & Supplies Company implemented the fire-fighting system for the New Capital Ministry of Planning.
